 Our learning in Snowy Owls

• In PSHE, we came up with a recipe for kindness!
• We have been learning the poem Autumn Time is Coming in Storytime, enjoying joining in as we think about falling leaves and changes in autumn time!

• We have been marvellous mathematicians. Reception have explored numbers to 5, practising our careful counting and recognising numerals. Year 1 have started our learning on addition, using the part whole model to add different amounts.
• We enjoyed a PE session in the sunshine and learned the rules of duck duck goose!
• We have begun our reading journey with exciting phonics lessons, while us Year 1 Snowies have been busy writing wonderful sentences about our favourite foods.
• We have been exploring numbers to 10 by counting on and counting back. We have used number tracks to support our counting when completing our workbooks.
• We started our new topic 'The Wonderful World of Me!
