 Our learning in Foxes

We have been practising our times tables and seeing if we can improve our score.

We have built our understanding of the functional properties of different materials.

In History, we wrote diaries to demonstrate our learning about Roman Britain.

We have been learning about and constructing a simple circuit in Science to build our understanding of how they work.

In writing, we have been working in the Writer's Club working with partners to identify where and how our writing could be improved to have more impact.

We have been immersing ourselves in the science of electricity. We have grouped then generated categories for different devices that run on electrical power.

We were able to go and enjoy a gardening session with Mr Charlton.

We have been exploring tempo in Music, using our bodies to explore the beat and keep time.

We have been developing our skills in fielding and striking. We will then be able to use our skills for playing rounders more accurately.

In English, we have been looking at our story 'The Dragon Machine' from the character George's point of view and writing in the first person. George can see dragons everywhere - can you?

We have been learning about volcanoes in our Geography lessons - are they dormant, extinct or active? How do we know?

In Art, we have been looking at the work of artists who create graphic novels and comic books.
