Our learning in Badgers

In Art, we have been continuing to work on our layered portraits.

We have been working on what the difference is between passive and active voice in writing and have been applying it to our work.

We have begun to explore Gymnastics in PE.

We have been looking at our arithmetic skills.

We have begun our DT project looking at playgrounds and what the key features are.

We have been learning about relative clauses as part of our Grammar learning in English.

We are learning about non-chronological reports and how to plan an effective one.

We are looking at Earth and Space across the curriculum and learned how to say the names of the different planets in Spanish.

We have started our new history unit on Ancient Greece. To start off we are looking at different sources and coming up with questions with the aim of learning the answers to them during the term.

In English, we have been working on our comedy plots. To show what we have understood, we have been doing a hot write.

We have been looking at Human Geography, exploring how a banana goes from the farm to the table.

In PE we have been learning about how to attack and defend in netball.

We have been enjoying our new class story, 'Beast lands - Race to Frostfall Mountain' in guided reading.

In Science, we have been looking at classifying living organisms. To practice this, we have been using sweets to identify different features we could use to classify by.

In Badgers we have been using the Chromebooks to look at different databases and how they can be used.
